Panchkula
A Chandigarh studio half an hour away — photographing Panchkula weddings since 2014.
Cinestyle India is a wedding photography and film studio in Sector 44, Chandigarh. Panchkula is about half an hour away, and we shoot here often enough to know which venues still have usable light at nine at night and which ones need us to bring our own.
We have been working here since 2014 — at The Palace, Grand Orient, Roche & Harbor, The Fort Ramgarh, Golden Tulip and M1 Resort, and at farmhouses and family homes across the city.
Panchkula weddings have a character of their own: a mix of Punjabi and Haryanvi families, venues that run from large banquet halls to open farmhouse lawns, and the hills sitting right there on the edge of town.
How we shoot
We don't stop the wedding to line people up. A few family portraits where they're wanted — the rest is what actually happened.
Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot we were there. That's the whole idea. You should be at your wedding, not performing at it.
One team, one plan. The photo team and the film team aren't competing for the same moment or blocking each other's frame.
Where we've shot
Knowing a venue before the day matters more than people expect — where the light falls at four in the afternoon, which corner works for the couple shoot, where the baraat will actually enter. These are venues we have already worked in Panchkula:
Getting married somewhere else in Panchkula? That's normal — we have also shot at farmhouses and family homes across the city. Tell us the venue and we will usually know it, or we will go and see it before your date.

Open lawns
A lot of Panchkula venues are open lawns and farmhouses. They look wonderful at six in the evening and they become a problem at nine.
Open spaces have nothing to bounce light off — no ceiling, no walls. The decor lighting looks warm and lovely to your eye, but it gives a camera almost nothing to work with. This is where thin crews come apart, and you end up with dark, grainy photographs of your own reception.
We bring our own lighting for night functions on open lawns — not harsh direct flash, but shaped, soft light that looks like it belongs in the scene. We put a second cinematographer opposite the stage so the varmala and the speeches are covered from two angles. And we ask the decor team where their lights will be before the function starts, so we are working with them instead of against them.
If your reception is outdoors and running late into the night, tell us when you book. It changes the crew and the kit we bring.
Pre-wedding
Couples travel here from other cities to shoot in these places. You are twenty minutes away, and most Panchkula couples never use them properly.
Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore. Terraced Mughal gardens with water channels running down the middle. It photographs beautifully, but the timing decides everything — go early morning on a weekday. By late morning on a weekend it is full of visitors and every frame has strangers in it. There is an entry fee and a separate charge for professional shoots, so check the current rates before you plan.
The Morni road. Twenty minutes of climbing and you get open valley views with no crowd at all. Best in the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. The light in between is harsh and the haze flattens the hills.
If you are getting married in Panchkula, you can do a full pre-wedding shoot in the morning and be home by lunch. We have written a longer guide to pre-wedding shoot locations around Chandigarh if you want to see the other options first.
What it costs
Most studios will not put a number on a page. We will, because you deserve to know before you spend an hour on a call.
Cinestyle India weddings run from around ₹1.5 lakh to ₹7 lakh. Where a wedding sits in that range depends on how many days and functions there are, how large a team the day needs, whether you want a printed album, and what you want in terms of films — a highlight, a full film, reels, a same-day edit.
Send us your dates and your function list, and we will come back with a proper quote rather than a range.
Questions we get
No. Panchkula is local for us — our studio in Sector 44 is about half an hour away, so there is no travel charge and no accommodation to arrange.
Not if you tell us in advance. We bring our own lighting for outdoor night functions, because open lawns give a camera nothing to bounce off. See the section above.
Yes, we shoot at both regularly. Pinjore needs permission and a fee for professional shoots — we will tell you what is currently required when you book.
A full wedding usually has three photographers and three cinematographers. If two functions are running at the same time, we bring two teams. We agree the team size with you before the date.
For peak season — November through February — three to six months is sensible. Dates go early. Off-season we can often work with less notice, so it is always worth asking.
A set of edited previews within a few days of the wedding, so you have something to share while everyone is still talking about it. The full gallery and film follow after that, on a timeline agreed in writing before booking.
Yes, and we would prefer it. Come to the studio in Sector 44, Chandigarh — a short drive from Panchkula. You will see full weddings start to finish, not just the best ten frames.
Yes — Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Jammu, and destination weddings across India.
Tell us your dates and function list, and we will come back with availability and a proper quote. Usually within a few hours.
