Wedding Photographer in Jammu

A Chandigarh studio that travels well — and some of our best work has been in Jammu.

Far enough that it has to be planned properly

Cinestyle India is a wedding photography and film studio based in Chandigarh. Jammu is a long way from us — a full day on the road, or a flight and a drive — and some of the largest weddings we have shot have been there. We have worked at Hari Niwas, A4 Resort, Majestic Grand, Ramada by Wyndham, and at family homes across the city.

Distance changes how a wedding has to be run. There is no popping back for a forgotten lens and no last-minute crew addition. Everything — equipment, backups, people, travel — is decided and packed days before we leave. That planning is exactly why nothing has ever gone wrong on a Jammu shoot.

How we shoot

Candid, and mostly invisible

01

No long posing sessions

We don't stop the wedding to line people up. A few family portraits where they're wanted — the rest is what actually happened.

02

We stay out of the way

Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot we were there. That's the whole idea. You should be at your wedding, not performing at it.

03

Photographs and film together

One team, one plan. The photo team and the film team aren't competing for the same moment or blocking each other's frame.

Where we've shot

Venues in and around Jammu

Knowing a venue before the day matters more than people expect — where the light falls at four in the afternoon, which corner works for the couple shoot, where the baraat will actually enter. These are venues we have already worked in Jammu:

  • Hari Niwas
  • A4 Resort
  • Majestic Grand
  • Ramada by Wyndham

Getting married somewhere else in Jammu? That's normal — we have also shot at family homes and smaller venues across the city. Tell us the venue and we will find out everything we need about it well before your date.

The practical part

How a Jammu wedding works with us

We reach Jammu a day before the first function so we are settled, rested and ready — not arriving off a long journey on the morning of the wedding. Travel and stay for the team are arranged by the family, which is the normal arrangement for a wedding this far out.

A full wedding is usually covered by three photographers and three cinematographers. The team is sized to the day, not to a fixed package — a smaller function may run with one team, while a day with two events happening at once will have two teams working in parallel. That is decided with you before the date.

Delivery is the same wherever we shoot. You get a set of edited previews within a few days, and the full gallery and film after that. We give you the exact timeline in writing before you book, and we keep to it.

What it costs

Straight answer on pricing

Most studios will not put a number on a page. We will, because you deserve to know before you spend an hour on a call.

For a Jammu wedding, Cinestyle India packages run from around ₹2 lakh to ₹7 lakh. Where a wedding sits in that range depends on how many days and functions there are, how large a team the day needs, whether you want a printed album, and what you want in terms of films — a highlight, a full film, reels, a same-day edit.

Send us your dates and your function list, and we will come back with a proper quote rather than a range.

Questions we get

Before you ask

Do you travel to Jammu for weddings?

Yes — we have shot some of our largest weddings there. Travel and stay for the team are arranged by the family, as is usual for a wedding this far from our base.

How many people will be shooting?

A full wedding usually has three photographers and three cinematographers. If two functions are running at the same time, we bring two teams. We agree the team size with you before the date.

When does your team reach Jammu?

A day before the first function. On a shoot this far out we never cut that short — it is what keeps everything calm on the wedding morning.

How far in advance should we book?

For peak season — November through February — three to six months is sensible. Dates go early. Off-season we can often work with less notice, so it is always worth asking.

How long until we get our photos?

A set of edited previews within a few days of the wedding, so you have something to share while everyone is still talking about it. The full gallery and film follow after that, on a timeline agreed in writing before booking.

Can we meet before booking?

Yes, and we would prefer it. Come to the studio in Sector 44, Chandigarh, or we can do a video call. You will see full weddings start to finish, not just the best ten frames.

Do you cover other cities?

Yes — Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Mohali, Panchkula, and destination weddings across India.

In Their Words

“Their entire team is very approachable and friendly — it felt like we were communicating with our family only, during all the wedding functions.”

— Aparjit Singh

Is your date still open?

Tell us your dates and function list, and we will come back with availability and a proper quote. Usually within a few hours.
