Cinestyle India is a wedding photography and film studio based in Chandigarh. Amritsar is about four hours away, and we have been shooting weddings there since 2014 — at Taj Swarna, The Chalet Resort, Grand Celebration Resort, Festyn Palais, and at gurdwaras and family homes across the city.
A lot of Amritsar weddings centre on the Anand Karaj, and a gurdwara is not a venue you can work the way you work a lawn. Heads covered, shoes off, no shooting from behind the Guru Granth Sahib, no standing above the sangat, no flash during the laavan. We know all of this without being told — and it means the family never has to watch the photographer instead of the ceremony.

We don't stop the wedding to line people up. A few family portraits where they're wanted — the rest is what actually happened.
We stay out of the way
Most couples tell us afterwards they forgot we were there. That's the whole idea. You should be at your wedding, not performing at it.

One team, one plan. The photo team and the film team aren't competing for the same moment or blocking each other's frame.

The practical part
How an Amritsar wedding works with us
We travel to Amritsar a day before the first function. There is no separate travel charge for the city. Accommodation for the team is arranged by the family, which is the normal arrangement for an out-of-city wedding.
A full wedding is usually covered by three photographers and three cinematographers. The team is sized to the day, not to a fixed package — a smaller function may run with one team, while a day with two events happening at once will have two teams working in parallel. That is decided with you before the date, so nobody is short-handed on the morning of the wedding.
Delivery is the same wherever we shoot. You get a set of edited previews within a few days, and the full gallery and film after that. We give you the exact timeline in writing before you book, and we keep to it.

Straight answer on pricing
Most studios will not put a number on a page. We will, because you deserve to know before you spend an hour on a call.
For an Amritsar wedding, Cinestyle India packages run from around ₹2 lakh to ₹7 lakh. Where a wedding sits in that range depends on how many days and functions there are, how large a team the day needs, whether you want a printed album, and what you want in terms of films — a highlight, a full film, reels, a same-day edit.

Before you ask
Have you shot Anand Karaj ceremonies before?
Many times. We know how to work inside a gurdwara without ever getting in the way — covered heads, no flash during the laavan, nothing shot from behind the Guru Granth Sahib. The family should be able to sit through the ceremony without noticing us at all.
Do you charge extra to come to Amritsar?
No separate travel charge for Amritsar. Stay for the team is arranged by the family, as is usual for a wedding outside our own city.
How many people will be shooting?
A full wedding usually has three photographers and three cinematographers. If two functions are running at the same time, we bring two teams. We agree the team size with you before the date.
How far in advance should we book?
For peak season — November through February — three to six months is sensible. Dates go early. Off-season we can often work with less notice, so it is always worth asking.
How long until we get our photos?
A set of edited previews within a few days of the wedding, so you have something to share while everyone is still talking about it. The full gallery and film follow after that, on a timeline agreed in writing before booking.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes, and we would prefer it. Come to the studio in Sector 44, Chandigarh, or we can do a video call. You will see full weddings start to finish, not just the best ten frames.
