Cinestyle India is a wedding photography and film studio based in Chandigarh. Jalandhar is about two and a half hours away on the GT Road, and we have been shooting weddings there since 2014 — at The Heritage, The Cabbana Resort & Spa, Royal Kings Resort, The Grand Lily Resorts, and at family homes and farmhouses across the city.
Jalandhar weddings are usually large, and they rarely run to a single thread. The ladies are getting ready in one room while the baraat is being organised outside and an uncle is holding court on the lawn. One photographer cannot be in three places. We plan the team around that, so nothing important happens off-camera.

The practical part
How a Jalandhar wedding works with us
We travel to Jalandhar a day before the first function. There is no separate travel charge for the city. Accommodation for the team is arranged by the family, which is the normal arrangement for an out-of-city wedding.
A full wedding is usually covered by three photographers and three cinematographers. The team is sized to the day, not to a fixed package — a smaller function may run with one team, while a day with two events happening at once will have two teams working in parallel. That is decided with you before the date, so nobody is short-handed on the morning of the wedding.
Delivery is the same wherever we shoot. You get a set of edited previews within a few days, and the full gallery and film after that. We give you the exact timeline in writing before you book, and we keep to it.

Most studios will not put a number on a page. We will, because you deserve to know before you spend an hour on a call.

Before you ask
Do you charge extra to come to Jalandhar?
No separate travel charge for Jalandhar. Stay for the team is arranged by the family, as is usual for a wedding outside our own city.
How many people will be shooting?
A full wedding usually has three photographers and three cinematographers. If two functions are running at the same time, we bring two teams. We agree the team size with you before the date.
When does your team reach Jalandhar?
A day before the first function. That gives us time to see the venue in daylight and plan properly instead of working it out on the morning.
How far in advance should we book?
For peak season — November through February — three to six months is sensible. Dates go early. Off-season we can often work with less notice, so it is always worth asking.
How long until we get our photos?
A set of edited previews within a few days of the wedding, so you have something to share while everyone is still talking about it. The full gallery and film follow after that, on a timeline agreed in writing before booking.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes, and we would prefer it. Come to the studio in Sector 44, Chandigarh, or we can do a video call. You will see full weddings start to finish, not just the best ten frames.
